To facilitate pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh in visiting some of India’s most revered religious destinations, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is operating a special Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train. The train will depart from Indore on September 15, 2026, for the “Puri, Gangasagar, Gaya, Varanasi and Ram Lalla Darshan Yatra.”
One of the key highlights of the tour is that passengers can complete the entire pilgrimage without the hassle of changing trains repeatedly. The package also includes transportation, accommodation, meals, sightseeing and other essential travel arrangements.
The Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train will operate via major stations in Madhya Pradesh, including Indore, Ujjain, Shujalpur, Sehore, Rani Kamlapati (Bhopal), Itarsi, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni and Anuppur, allowing pilgrims to board from these stations.
The 10-night, 11-day pilgrimage will cover the sacred destinations of Puri, Gangasagar, Gaya, Varanasi and Ayodhya (Ram Lalla Darshan), along with visits to other prominent religious and tourist attractions.

IRCTC is offering this as an all-inclusive tour package, which includes comfortable rail travel in a specially designed LHB Bharat Gaurav train, meals during the journey and at destinations, road transportation by quality buses for sightseeing, accommodation as per the itinerary, tour escort services, travel insurance, onboard security and housekeeping facilities.
